    “Awww… Really?”

“Yeah, sorry man,” JD shrugged, “We just don’t have that kind of can here. Though if you want, we have plenty of Fairy Tail cans left.”

“No thanks,” Jet said, looking rather disappointed in what had just happened.  The young man with dark hair had heard about this particular garage sale, in this massive neighborhood sea of garage sales, selling a particularly interesting product.  One that could change a person into a whole other being from an anime and all it involved was a spray can.

Rachel said with a concerned look, “You sure?  We hate for you to have come all the way out here without going home with anything.  You sure you are not interested in any of the other varieties we got?”

“Sorry,” he stated, “I was only interested in trying one that was Persona related.”

JD scratched the back of his head and shrugged, not really sure what to say. “Well…” he mustered, “Thanks for stopping by I guess?”

Jet nodded and headed down the drive, the couple returning to help other customers and change up the storefront.

As he was just about to start feeling rather sad about wasting his time, he heard an odd voice. “PPSSSSTTT!” it said in a whisper, “Hey you!  The dork in the shirt with the headphones logo!  Over here!”

He turned his head to the right and stared over at the picket fence dividing this and other property.  On the other side of it was a young woman with pointed glasses, bushy black ponytails, and green skin.  She gave him a hard look and smiled, beckoning him over to her with her finger.  “Yeah you,” she said, “I couldn’t help but overhear your problem.”

Jet approaches the lady, looking at her with curiosity and suspicion.  She seems to notice that and responds as he gets close, “Yes yes, I am a witch and witches are usually known for being troublemakers.  However, that’s not me at all [usually].  I’m here to sell you exactly what you want.”

    “…which is?”

“The Costume in a Can spray can you want!” she declared, “You want to turn into a Persona girl?  That can most certainly be arranged with what I have!”

“Really?” he said, sounding more intrigued.

“Really!” the witch stated, holding out her hand to her side, “Now, if my assistant Cassidy would just bring it to me so I can show you…”

Another witch, this time with a bowl-looking haircut, appeared behind her, looking frustrated and holding a can.  “First of all Traci,” Cassidy said, slamming the spray into Traci’s open hand, “I’m the leader of this coven here and frankly, you would be MY assistant.  Second, stop trying to steal the customers from our neighbors.  We can make money without having to mooch off everyone else’s leftovers.”

“Come on!” Traci begged, “We need this!  JD and his harem over there are making tons of money with this spray can shit and so can we!”

Cassidy blushes and said, “J-JD does not have a harem.  He just has a girlfriend and two girl roommates.”

“Oh naive little witch,” Traci said, shaking her head as she pinched Cassidy’s cheek, “Anyone with eyes can see what is really going on over there…”

“Ummm…” Jet interrupted, “Ladies?  The can…”

Traci stopped what she was doing and turned back to him, giving him a polite smile.  “Sorry,” she said, “I got distracted there.  Anyhow, this Costume in a Can is exactly what you need!”

He looked at the can in her hand and realized it was a hairspray can that was partially painted silver and had “Costume in a Can: Persona Edition” written onto it with a sharpie.  “Right…” he said, “That totally looks like the real deal…”

“Look,” she glared, “This is my own special concoction and it’s exactly what you are looking for.  Just try it.  First spray is on the house…”

Jet sighed.  What did he have to lose?  He nodded his head and said, “Sure… lay it on me.”

Traci smiled brightly and give him a small spray, saying, “Hope you enjoy it.  I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the results.”

Once the spray had dried against his skin, the changes happened almost immediately.  His skin slightly lightened and his black hair turned brown.  He noticed the skin change on the back of his hand and then tried feeling his head & hair.  However, he noticed that his hair was still roughly the same size and length.

“Something wrong?” Cassidy asked, noticing his surprise.

“It’s just…” he said, as his voice started changing, “I thought my hair would be longer or something.”

“Well I suppose not all anime girls have long hair…” Traci shrugged.

“I guess…” he spoke again, his voice higher pitch and more feminine sounding.

His darker eyes started to lighten a bit, changing into a lighter brown shade.  As that happened, he rubbed his eyes slightly, feeling as if something touched them.  Once he removed his hands, his eyes were a tad rounder and his eyelashes were longer.

The remainder of his face followed in its changes.  His nose thinned slightly, any hair not on his scalp or eyebrows vanished, and his chin rounded.  Head-wise, he looked like a completely different person.

“This is perfect!” Traci said, conjuring a hand mirror and handing it to him, “You are looking like a whole new person already!”

“I’ll say,” he said, looking at his face, blushing, “I’m turning into Chie from Persona 4…”

“Now you can see why my spray cans are better than JD’s ones,” Traci bragged, “I offer a much better variety that is sure to…”

“Hey!” a voice called out.  The trio turned to the voice and saw it was Rachel, approaching them rather quickly with JD following behind.

Cassidy blushed profusely and ducked behind the fence.  Traci only narrowed her eyes and responded, “Yes?  May I help you?”

“Are you trying to sneak in on our turf here?” Rachel accused.

“Nothing like a little healthy competition,” Traci stated, “Not my fault you two can’t provide everyone with what they want.”

Jet watched the two girls argue with each other while JD tried to calm them both down.  As he watched the confrontation, Jet’s body thinned and became smaller in frame.  His legs, chest, and arm lost definition, muscle, and any traces of regular fat in them.  His frame looked like that of a teenage girl’s, his clothing hanging on him loosely now.

He glanced down at himself after a while, noticing what was up with his sudden decrease in height, and spoke, “Ummm… excuse me…”

“And another thing blue airheaded slime monstrosity!” Traci spat, ignoring the budding girl, “You are so going to lose and lose badly when all is said and done by the end of this garage sale event!  I’m going to have all the customers over in my yard buying my spray cans!”

“Oh yeah?!” Rachel shot back, “There’s no way that’s going to happen because people don’t like witches, especially green, ugly witches like you!”

“You racist!” she fired in response.

“No!  You are the racist one here!”

“Ah…” Jet said, “Never mind…”  His hips and rear expanded, slightly stretching his pants a bit and making them more comfortable.  Also, his lower region’s bulge disappeared, converting him into a her.

“Actually…” Cassidy said, approaching the new girl, “Is there a problem?”

“I’m guessing my clothes aren't going to fit any more,” she stated, looking down at herself again, just as her waist shrunk inwards a small amount, “Do you have anything that will fit?”

Cassidy frowned, “Sorry.  My garage sale isn’t selling any clothes.”

“Mine is though,” JD interrupted, causing Cassidy to blush once more, “I can help you with that.”

“Thank you,” Jet stated, her chest growing and stretching, pushing her shirt forward for a while until it stopped at a C-cup range.

“No problem,” he replied, leading her away from the two girls arguing.

“…should you try to stop them?”

“Traci and Rachel?” he asked, “Nah.  This heated exchange will burn out soon….”

“SCREW YOU!!” Traci shouted.  The two turned around and saw that Traci and Rachel were now fighting each other physically, pulling at each other’s hair and punching each other in the gut.

“Ah crap,” JD sighed, “Melissa?  Can you help this girl get some new clothes while I break up this fight?”

Melissa, sitting at the counter working on a crossword puzzle, looked up and sighed, “Another one?”

    “Yeah…”

“Alright…” she said, walking over to Jet and pulling her away while JD ran to stop the fight (alongside Cassidy, who was trying to pull Traci away).

“…so…” Jet asked as she was brought over to the clothing rack, “Does that happen often?”

Melissa looked at her and then back at the fight, seeing both JD & Cassidy drag their respective friend away.  She sighed once last time and said, “A bit more often than it should.”
