Description

STORY: A young punk girl by the name of Jane was using her brother's laptop to look things up when she stumbled upon his Weekly Shonen Jump account.  She decided to take a look at one of his back issues and stumbled across a terrible manga.  For some reason, she could not look away and read every single bit of it.  After it was over, she quickly went away and tried to forget about it.  However, the manga left a rather interesting impression in her that slowly morphed and form her into a certain figure...

BACKSTORY: Not too long ago, back at the end of November 2014, Weekly Shonen Jump's American edition was running a special event called Jump Start.  Everytime a new series premiered in Shonen Jump, us in America would be able to read the first three chapters of a series.  We got stuff like The Table Tennis of Aghea (really funny), Sporting Salts (sadly underrated), Hi-Fi Cluster (totally forgettable), and School Judgement (awesome).  The fans would then get a chance to vote for the series they wanted to keep getting published in America.  Now, at the end of November, one of the series that got Jump Start was a little title called E-Robot.  It was a harem comedy about guy whose uncle had build the ultimate erotic robot that could end all world problems or something and the kid had to take care of her.

This series... was godawful.  Boring artwork, unfunny humor, bland characters, eyerolling fan service, and more.  It had the kind of premise that could be amusing if it played all as a joke (or as parody), but the series played it completely straight and it was intolerable & unfunny.  It didn't even offer up any good characterization either!  It didn't get picked up (proof of higher power in the universe) and just recently, it got the boot in Japan with only 11 chapters.  I heard it didn't even get a chance to wrap up.  It was just ended.

So why this if E-Robot was awful?  Well, because despite it all, it did inspire me for a fun transformation.  Something in the same vein as A Bad Dose of Reality, where something terrible had left a horrible impact on a person who witnessed it.  Thus, this punk girl turning into the bubbly and "erotic" robot main character known as AI Roborovskii (no seriously).  I hope you enjoy this regardless of the quality of this thing.

QUESTION: Would you want me to doing this sequence as a regular story as well?  You know, to give more detail or such?

Things to Note:
E-Robot and AI Roborovskii belongs Ryohei Yamamoto.
E-Robot was serialized before being cancelled in Shonen Jump.
For more detail and a better look at the trainwreck that was E-Robot, check this video and skip to about 1:53:30.
If you want to an example of better fanservice comedy and romance, check this video and skip to about 1:31:40.  Also consider buying Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma.  Brilliantly shameless in the best of ways!
